Do I need a new cap or just a repair?

Send a photo of the top of your chimney and we'll tell you. Sometimes it's a simple reset; sometimes a rusted cover is past saving and a custom replacement is the better value.

Can you match a new roof or siding?

Yes. Our custom chase covers are powder-coated, so we can finish them to complement a new roof or siding.

What does a chimney cap do?

It's the lid on your flue — it keeps rain, animals, leaves, and debris out of the chimney and helps block stray embers. A chase cover does the same job for the top of a framed chimney.

Why do animals keep getting into my chimney?

Almost always a missing or damaged cap. Birds, squirrels, and raccoons treat an open flue like a hollow tree, and a properly fitted cap keeps them out for good.
