What's Included

Find the Leak, Then Stop It

Water is the single most destructive thing that happens to a chimney, and it works in quietly — through a cracked crown, failed flashing, or porous brick — long before a stain shows up on your ceiling. We track down where it's getting in, fix the cause, and seal the masonry with a commercial-grade repellent that keeps rain out while letting the chimney breathe.

  • Find the source of the leak
  • Flashing repair and replacement
  • Crown repair and crown coats
  • Power-washing to clear grime, vegetation, and discoloration
  • Water-repellent application that still lets masonry breathe

Common Questions

Questions, Answered

The questions we hear most.

What causes a chimney to leak?
Most leaks trace back to failed flashing, a cracked crown, a missing cap, or brick that's soaked up too much water over the years. We find which one it is before we seal anything.
Why not just use regular sealant?
Standard sealers trap moisture inside the masonry and make things worse. We use a breathable, commercial-grade repellent built for chimneys.
How long does chimney waterproofing last?
The commercial-grade repellent we use protects the masonry for years, not months. It soaks in and lets the brick breathe while keeping rain out — it isn't a surface coating that peels.
Will waterproofing fix a chimney that already leaks?
Waterproofing prevents leaks through porous brick, but if water is already getting in through a cracked crown or failed flashing, we fix that first. We find the actual source, repair it, then seal — sealant alone over a real leak won't hold.
